Big game between seeded teams on the court of La Laguna Tenerife

Liga Endesa round 33

Miguel Ángel Polo

Valencia Basket's men's team faces its final away game of the Liga Endesa regular season, aiming to keep its chances alive of securing second place in a direct showdown on the court of La Laguna Tenerife (Sunday 25th, 1:00 PM, Santiago Martín, Movistar Plus+/Movistar+ Deportes) in Round 33. Having already secured a seeded spot for the Playoffs, the "taronja" team needs a win on a court where they’ve lost three of their last five visits to guarantee at least third place and stay in the race for a higher finish at the end of the regular season.

They will be up against a tough opponent who could seal the best season in their history and secure second place by defending their home court on Sunday morning. The game features the two most efficient offenses in the Liga Endesa and two teams that share the lead in several key offensive statistics.

Center Joel Soriano has already been registered in the ACB and could make his debut if included in the squad. Coach Pedro Martínez has thirteen professional players available due to the injuries of Ethan Happ and Amida Brimah.

Valencia Basket currently sits in third place with a 23-9 record.
